So ,what’s a film?
Film is a term that encompasses individual motion pictures,the field of film as an art form,and the motion picture industry.Films are produced by recording actual people and objects with cameras,or by creating images using animation techniques or special effects.
The film is considered to be an important art form ,also a source of popular entertainment and a powerful method for educating or indoctrinating citizens.For some cultures,as the American one,for instance,going to see a movie is a real time ritual,everyone knows the expression “dinner and a movie”.
And…for a little bit of brief history, the first attempt to obtain a film ,was made in the 1860s.Back then ,sequences of still pictures were being displayed throughout optical devices
Then,slowly it developed into the capturing of moving objects in real time,then came the silent film,which evolved into the “talking” one,then the colour appeared and then came the digital technology we can see today.
Pretty soon the film became an industry which is especially developed in the United States and India.This development brought of course the evolution of others as well,so came the film critics,the film actors and an entire “army” of a film staff.Another branch of the film would be the animation,which also started to become big,begining with walt disney and gaining a lot of attention in time;now we can see animation film festivals ,as animation started being seen not only as an entertaiment for young children.
