The word “actor” comes directly from the masculine Latin noun “actor”,from the verb “agere”,”to do,to drive,to pass time.Also,in Greek,”aktor”=”leader”.
An actor is a person who acts,or plays a role in a dramatic production.The term commonly reffers to someone working in movies,television,live theatre,or radio,and can occasionally denote a street entertainer.Besides playing dramatic roles,actors may also sing or dance or work only on radio or as a voice artist.
An actor usually plays a fictional character.In the case of a true story, an actor may play a real person.Occasionally,actors appear as themselves,as in John Malkovich’s performance in the film “Being John Malkovich”.
The first recorded case of an actor performing took place in 534 BC(probably on 23 November) when the Greek performer Thespis stepped on to the stage at Theatre Dionysus and became the first known person to speak words as a character in a play.
From then on,the “acting” history began;methods started developing,schools appeared,an entire industry started to be build on the grounds of this one “little” character,the actor.

Directors
DIRECTOR=the person who gives instructions to the actors,cameraman etc in a film or play.
This will be the directors’ section.As some of you may know,they play a big part in the life of an actor.So,we will be talking about them as well;we will have names,biographies,interesting and less known facts about them,filmograhpies(for film directors),schools one might attend in the attempt of becoming a director,either for film or stage.Of course we will see them in images as well,either in their so called private life or on the red carpet,we will talk about their private and public lives.
Actors’ lives
They’re not everyday people,so they don’t have everyday lives,that’s for sure!What you’ll be seeing here is the person behind the star,as much as we can see one,from the point of view of one who doesn’t breathe the same air as the actors does everyday.We will be taking a closer look at his or her likes and dislikes,the “normal” things he or she does,just like the rest of us;then there will be,of course,the “glamour ” things they do,the scandalous behaviors,the darkest secrets the paparazzi can reveal us.
First of all we’ll take a look at their biography,then at their accomplishments on stage or film,so we’ll know who we’re talking about.And then,the actor’s “status” being established ,we will take e peek into his/her life,every word said in the press,that we know about,every action caught by the camera.
So,basically,we will be tracking down every move they’ve ever made and closely analyze all their thoughts,actions and images,as well as we can,since ,as I said earlier,we actually don’t wake up next to them every morning.
